Hi, how can we help you today?
Frequently asked questions
Do you charge extra for your mobile/portable services?
No. Never. We bring glasses and eye care services directly to the people we serve because it is one of the ways we remove barriers to healthcare. There is no extra charge.
Why should I use a mobile optician over online or traditional optical stores?
From the convenience of your home, our mobile opticians can provide quality & personalized service. We customize your appointment to suit your busy lifestyle. This benefits everyone from parents with small children, to seniors as well as persons with disabilities. Our mobile optician brings highly specialized equipment so your glasses fit & feel great. She can even help with repairs!
Can you bill directly to my insurance?
Yes! We direct bill to most insurance companies.
More on mobile optician services
No longer will your employees need to take time off from work to get their glasses fixed or to get an eye exam! You will save time and money.
Our mobile optician comes to your office at your convenience. While there, she can also evaluate the employees, during their everyday tasks, to ensure they have the proper eyewear which in turn will help increase their productivity.
We carry over 300 frames from children’s glasses, teens’ to adults’ frames. We also have sunglasses, petite frames, and oversized frames to suit everyone’s unique needs.
No, our mobile services and eyewear cost less than your traditional optical store or optometry office. We can carry out our services without the overhead of costly monthly clinics with waiting rooms. We pass our savings directly to you.
In addition, with our Get Glasses Give Glasses philosophy, your purchase with us helps low income and marginalized Canadians receive equitable access to their care or new glasses. Your purchasing power has extra mileage at Nation’s Vision!
We are very flexible to your needs; we can accommodate evening and weekend appointments and come to your home or office.
We have highly specialized equipment which helps us bring the whole optometry office to your door.
Purchasing frames and contacts
Because contact lenses are considered a medical device, we need to have an updated contact lens prescription before we obtain your order. We can always get a copy of your prescription from your clinic or you can complete a contact lens fitting with one of our optometrists.
Book a contact lens exam for a training session and fitting.
At the comfort of your home or at your work, a staff member will properly teach you how to insert and remove contact lenses. There is no extra charge for this support.
