Eye care for children with special needs

Lydia Iyegbu, Optometric Assistant

"It's actually a beautiful experience when you see a child come in after the exam. They're all smiling and they feel excited. You hear some of them say, “Oh, I didn't know that was blue!!” That expression they have? It just gives us joy. These are kids who may never have had an eye exam. When they see --  it's exciting!"

Jen (Calgary, Alberta)

"I love this company because I know that by buying from them they also give back to the community. They have a school program where they go and test children's eyes and provide glasses for kids that don't normally have them that would have trouble seeing so I love that they give back. And it's super convenient for me and great prices with lots of variety. Good service too."

Anjelica (Calgary, Alberta)

"It was a great experience trying on glasses at work and having Louise come and fit them there. And I love that their buy glasses and give glasses program helps low-income children and seniors get new glasses too."

Eye See Eye Learn (ESEL)

Any child, of kindergarten age, who has received an eye exam by a Doctor of Optometry is eligible for a free pair of eyeglasses through the Eye See Eye Learn (ESEL) program.
